Dolph Ziggler is a former two-time World Heavyweight Champion in WWE and has been plying his trade in the company since 2004.
Fans were confused to see Dolph Ziggler at AEW Dynamite this week. As per Fightful Select, Ziggler was one of the several guests that were present on the latest episode of Dynamite. Ziggler was visiting his friends and his brother Ryan Nemeth.
Others present on Dynamite this week were CJ Perry, the former Lana, who accompanied Miro and was present backstage. Miro had a great comeback as he won against Johnny Elite in a one-on-one match. Rene Paquette was also present backstage. Hiroshi Tanahashi was seen talking with people throughout the night before his appearance.
There was the AEW/WarnerMedia/Discovery party that lasted for two hours after the show concluded with a “restricted” guest list.
What has Dolph Ziggler been doing recently in WWE
Dolph Ziggler had been on the main roster for a long time and in 2019, he formed a tag team with Robert Roode known as The Dirty Dawgs.
Recently he was sent to NXT 2.0 to feud with NXT Champion Bron Breakker. The Showoff managed to win the title from Breakker at NXT Roadblock on March 8, 2022.
He successfully defended the title against LA Knight (now Max Dupri) on an episode of NXT. The veteran managed to defend the title once again in a highly-acclaimed match against Breakker at Stand & Deliver, thanks to an interference from Roode. However, his reign ended when he was defeated by Breakker on the RAW after WrestleMania, earlier this year.
Ziggler has not been seen on WWE television since his defeat against Bron Breakker.
