Emmy Awards 2022 nominations are on their way. Here are all the details related to the live stream, where to watch and more

The exciting Emmy Awards 2022 is on its way and all the hit TV shows will be ready to battle it out in one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in the World.

74th Edition of Emmy Awards will be coming out on July 12 (India Today)

The Official List of Emmy nominations will come out on July 12, 2022. It will be streaming live at 11:30 AM EST on the award ceremony’s official page. The Emmy Awards 2022 will take place on September 12, 2022, on the NBC channel.

This year is going to be a lot of struggle for the Jury as there are a lot of great shows in line like Abbott Elementary, critically and commercially acclaimed Squid Games, and veteran TV shows like Better Call Saul.

Some of the TV shows had some brilliant follow-up seasons after giving the best performances in season 1 such as Ted Lasso season 2. Overall there were some brilliant shows for 2022.

There is one major update for this year’s Emmy Awards 2022. Previously the line between comedy and drama was established by run-time but with an increased number of series on television, the award ceremony will allow creators to choose the category they think is best for the TV show.

The host of the award ceremony is yet to be announced and it will be difficult to follow in the footsteps of the legendary Cedric the Entertainer who hosted the previous year’s Emmy Awards.
