Joseph Susano’o Blackwail Joe Black is a Haitian-American professional wrestler who plies his trade on the independent circuit.
Footage has emerged of Joe Black getting into a full-on brawl with a fan at ringside during an IWE Pro Wrestling show on Saturday evening.
In the video, an unnamed fan headbutted Black, who was playing the role of a heel during the show. Black was playing around with the audience in his heel persona but the fan did not like what he saw. After having his hat flipped off by Black, the fan took matters into his own hands delivering a headbutt to the wrestler.
Black was infuriated and did not hold back as he laid a few heavy blows on the fan, who was also throwing his hands in the scuffle until a couple of security personnel separated the two. People from the audience were shouting to have the fan taken out of the arena.
The fan’s shirt was torn during the brawl and towards the last few seconds of the video, he was being escorted out of the building by referees and officials.
This is certainly a very unpleasant incident. A physical altercation should never take place between a fan and a wrestler. Fans voiced their opinions on Twitter and in the next segment, we will take a look at their views.
There’s no word on if charges will be filed following the brawl but as per a few fans who were present at the event, the situation was not part of a gimmick and the fan was not planted.
There are two kinds of opinions on the incident. While there are fans who feel that Black crossed the line by touching the fan first, others feel that heels are supposed to rile up the audience and if a fan cannot take it, then he should refrain from going to the shows.
