Mississippi wife kills husband on Facebook live: The woman who killed her husband on Facebook Live in Mississippi is now under the custody of the authorities.
Deputies responded to a domestic violence incident on the 500 block of Green Tree Drive on Saturday morning, according to the Lowndes Country Sheriff’s office.
After suspecting Kadejah Michelle Brown, who is 28 years old, of shooting and killing her husband, she was taken into custody.
The male victim who was also 28 years old was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the authorities, and died from a single gunshot wound. Investigators think there was a physical altercation between the pair. Facebook Live was used to record the incident.
Police found other tangible evidence in addition to a 9 mm handgun. Brown was apprehended without a hitch and transferred to Lowndes County Adult Correctional Facility.
Sheriff Eddie Hawkins wrote on Facebook that Brown and the victim had a history of domestic violence. “This was a tragic and senseless murder and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the victim. Fortunately, Brown is in custody, and we look forward to the criminal justice system holding her accountable.”
This is not the first-time brutal murder, similar cases have taken place in the past as well. Recently, in connection with the passing of Jorge Torres Jr. 42, Sarah Boone, 42, was accused of second-degree murder, according to Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
According to WOFL-TV, Boone’s defense lawyer stated that she indents to see a battered spouse defense at trial.
The use of that as a defense according to criminal defense expert Mark Nejame would present Boone’s attorneys with a “difficult path to walk through”
The Sheriff said, “Florida does recognize battered women syndrome or battered spouse syndrome. It’s typically the woman who’s the victim in these matters but you have to show that the abuse is perpetual that it’s ongoing, that it escalates.”
On March 28, a pre-trial meeting was scheduled, and a trial could take place the week of April 10.
Boone called the police from her house in Winter Park in February 2020 and informed the dispatchers that her boyfriend had passed away.
According to an arrest affidavit from the Sheriff’s office, she allegedly told investigators that after drinking the previous evening, they decided it would be hilarious if Torres entered the luggage during a game of hide and seek.
The paper claimed that Boone admitted she zipped Torres into the bag, went upstairs to bed, and woke up the following morning to see him still inside and unconscious.
On the morning of Saturday, December 11, 2021, according to Maryland police, a guy murdered two ex-lovers before killing himself. Police claim that in between the string of homicides in Baltimore City and Columbia, the suspect made a lengthy Facebook Live video confession in which is admitted to killing his ex-girlfriend.
In a Facebook video obtained by the New York Post, the man 44-year-old Rajaee Shareed Black is heard saying, “I just shot my ex-girlfriend in I head. It felt like a dream. I never thought I would be that guy. ”
Black continues in the video to express his desire to avoid incarceration before bringing up his ex-wife. He remarked in the video, “So she’s next, and I’m going to do myself too.” Before directing the camera towards a door and hurriedly following someone inside.
In conclusion, we should be careful around people. Even the people whom we have trusted in the past can be dangerous to us. Therefore, it is essential to keep a check on everyone.
