Redefined: J.R Smith – Smith is a retired American basketball player. Smith played high school basketball at Saint Benedict’s Preparatory School in Newark, a basketball powerhouse in New Jersey. He entered the NBA right out of high school after being selected in the first round of the 2004 NBA draft.
The New Orleans Hornets were chosen with the 18th overall pick. He has also played with the Chinese Basketball Association’s Zhejiang Golden Bulls, the Denver Nuggets, and the New York Knicks. Smith won two NBA championships with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016 and the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020.
Smith enrolled at North Carolina A&T State University in 2021 and joined the Aggies’ golf team. Smith has decided to collaborate with Complexity Gaming again in 2021. He was born in the Freehold Borough of New Jersey. Smith grew raised in the Clarksburg section of Millstone Township, New Jersey.

It is four-part docuseries which shows the drafting of J.R. Smith to the NBA right after high school when he was mere 19 years of age. Years later he is at a place with no NBA team to call his home and is reinventing his life and career.
This series starts with Smith setting a new aim in his life by enrolling himself in college and seeking a new sports interest by being a member of the Men’s Golf Team at the North Carolina A&T, i.e., the state’s greatest Historically Black University.
This docuseries is executive produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, through their athlete empowerment brand UNINTERRUPTED. This spring on 4th April 2023, this series will exclusively premiere on Prime Video and will be available in 240 countries and territories over the world.
