Renee Paquette made some interesting revelations when she came as a guest on the 50th episode of the “Out of Character” podcast hosted by Ryan Satin.
Renee worked for WWE between 2012 and 2020. She served as a presenter, an interviewer, an interviewer backstage, and finally did commentary on RAW.
She is married to current AEW Superstar Jon Moxley. In the interview, she was asked about the most memorable thing she had done in WWE. Renee picked two moments that stood out for her.
During the later part of 2016, Miz started a feud with Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley). The Miz was the Intercontinental Champion back then. Renee who was in WWE under the name Renee Young was in a relationship with Dean Ambrose at that time. After a match which The Miz won in the 20th December 2016 segment of SmackDown, Renee got inside the ring for an interview with the A-lister.
She would ask Miz about his obsession with Ambrose. Miz however would make things personal by asking Renee about her obsession with Ambrose. Renee would slap The Miz and storm out of the ring in anger.
A couple of weeks later on SmackDown, Miz’s wife Maryse would slap Renee. She would pick this as her favorite moment as according to her she could flex her acting chops during the segment. Renee explained that she took the hard slap from Maryse right on the side of her head and sold the impact quite well.
Renee’s other favorite moment was during a match when Drew McIntyre and Dean Ambrose were brawling near the announce table.
This was on an episode of RAW and Renee was the commentator back then. Drew would take a pencil and was almost about to stab Ambrose in the eye. Renee said she let out a guttural scream.
Renee would describe the moment as subtle and one that she loves.
