Seth Rollins is one of the best heels in WWE. He is a multi-time World Champion and has had some great feuds over the years.

CM Punk

AEW recently had their Double or Nothing pay-per-view where CM Punk won the AEW World Championship from “Hangman” Adam Page. The Owen Hart Foundation Men and Women’s Tournament finals were also held at the event where Adam Cole and Britt Baker came out victoriously respectively.

After the event, Tony Khan and CM Punk answered questions from the media and a fan noticed that the Visionary was watching it live on Twitter. The fan posted a screenshot of the same. You can find the tweet from the fan attached below.

This has given rise to rumors and speculations among fans about whether Rollins intends to make the switch from WWE to AEW. Superstars from one promotion following some other promotion are not rare though. In today’s day and age, many superstars who were legends in one promotion have switched to a rival company.

Nothing is static. If a WWE veteran like William Regal can join AEW and the former Executive Vice-President of AEW Cody Rhodes can return to WWE after six years, anything is possible. We feel there isn’t the need to read too much into Rollins watching the AEW media scrum as many of his friends wrestle in Tony Khan’s company. That could be another reason why Rollins follows AEW.

What is next for Seth Rollins in WWE?

Seth Rollins has been involved in a feud with Cody Rhodes since the American Nightmare’s return to WWE at WrestleMania 38.

Wins have eluded Rollins as of late. He has lost to Rhodes on back-to-back pay-per-views. Add to that a few losses to his arch-rival at WWE Live Events.

The former Shield member will look to come out victorious as he faces Cody Rhodes at WWE’s upcoming pay-per-view – Hell in a Cell. To make things more interesting, the two men will be locked inside the Hell in a Cell structure.
