Former WOW Champion Tessa Blanchard reacts to reports of her falling out with WOW Wrestling
Several reports show that Tessa Blanchard and WOW Wrestling had a falling out ahead of the promotions’ re-launch later this week. According to Fightful Selects, allegations of issues surrounding Tessa Blanchard and the company are allegations. The WOW re-launch served as a rehabilitation project for the former WOW champion.
One former WOW talent said they believe Blanchard is gone from WOW, but nothing has been confirmed yet. In the aftermath of all these speculations, Blanchard took to her Instagram Stories and posted a quote from Pastor Matthew Hagee.
When standing up for your beliefs becomes a matter of great inconvenience, will you stand…
Blanchard has recently deactivated her Twitter but remains active on Instagram.
WOW signed a multi-year deal with ViacomCBS back in October
AJ Lee, the Executive Producer of WOW, announced that they signed a multi-year deal with ViacomCBS back for new WOW TV episodes back in October.
This will air in syndication each weekend on The CW and CBS stations beginning this fall. Those episodes are set to start taping this Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at The Globe Theatre in Los Angles.
Blanchard’s pro wrestling future has been up since her controversial exit from Impact Wrestling in March 2020 while she was the Impact World Champion. Since then, she has wrestled only one match on September 12, 2020. She dropped the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Title to Kylie Rae that night.
As of now, there is no word on if Tessa is still booked for this week’s TV tapings in Los Angeles. Blanchard and her husband Daga made multiple signings last year. Still, it was reported that there’s no genuine interest from WWE or AEW.
