Glasgow’s Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) is set to host Banksy’s first solo exhibition in 14 years, titled “Cut & Run.” The exhibition, authorized by the elusive street artist himself, will unveil the stencils used to create some of his iconic artworks for the very first time.

Spanning from 1998 to the present day, the showcase will include original artefacts, ephemera, and even the artist’s personal toilet. Banksy, in an interview with the Herald, expressed his decision to exhibit the stencils as works of art, now that the risk of criminal charges has diminished.

The exhibition aims to offer insights into Banksy’s artistic process, featuring new versions of renowned works like “Kissing Coppers” and “Mobile Lovers.”

Notably, it will also showcase Stormzy’s Union flag stab vest worn during his headline performance at Glastonbury 2019, along with pieces from Bethlehem, including a pillow fight between an Israeli soldier and a Palestinian citizen.
