We will get more chapters of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s story of growing up to become one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time and a Hollywood megastar.
He grew up in a resilient and persevering family. He saw wrestling legends walking around in his home and watched them wrestle alongside his other family members on television.
The People’s Champ is very fond of football and he was a footballer at the University of Miami. The show explores the journey of how The Rock became one of the world’s highest-grossing and highest-paid actors of all time and also a 10-time world champion.
The show stars Johnson alongside Joseph Lee Anderson, Stacy Leilua, Ana Tuisila, Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, Uli Latukefu, Fasitua Amosa, John Tui, and Matthew Willig.
The series was created by Nahnatchka Khan and Jeff Chiang and was inspired obviously by Dwayne Johnson’s life. Nahnatchka Khan, Jeff Chiang, Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Jennifer Carreras, Hiram Garcia, and Brian Gewirtz serve as Executive Producers.
Young Rock is produced by Universal Television, Fierce Baby Productions, and Seven Bucks Production.
The announcement of Season 3 was made by NBC’s Twitter handle quoting, “Big flex. #YoungRock will return for Season 3!”
This does not come as too much of a surprise as the show has done quite well in the past couple of seasons. Fans will surely be waiting in anticipation of the third installment to find out more about The Brahma Bull.
The Rock requests fans to read a book from former WWE head writer
Brian Gewirtz recently announced and revealed the cover of his upcoming book “There’s Just One Problem….”
Gewirtz is currently the SVP of Development at Seven Bucks Productions. He’s written on several television shows and has served as Executive Producer on NBC’s “Young Rock”.
The Rock tweeted that he recommended Gewirtz to Vince McMahon and the “boss” agreed to make him the first-ever writer in WWE. He later became the head writer in the company for years before leaving the job in 2012.
