Odell Beckham Jr. is still a free agent and Dan Orlovsky wants the Kansas City Chiefs to sign him up if they want to win the Super Bowl.
Odell Beckham Jr. is still a free agent, as he has been recovering from an ACL injury that he sustained against the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl last season. While playing for the Los Angeles Rams last season, OBJ made a huge impact, and many teams will be after him once he gets back healthy.
Teams like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, and the Los Angeles Rams are interested in signing OBJ, but it will be tough to get the star wide receiver to their team. Former Lions quarterback Dan Orlovsky wants the Chiefs to go after OBJ to pair him with Patrick Mahomes.
Talking about OBJ to the Chiefs, Dan Orlovsky said, “I remember when OBJ signed with the Rams last year I was on NFL live as it happened and I said this offense is now unstoppable. We saw that played out and I believe that if he goes and joins the Chiefs, this offense becomes unstoppable.”
He added, “We saw this team go kind of head to head last week against what many believe is the best team in football, the bills, and a red zone interception which is uncharacteristic of Patrick, and then the league game interception. So to sit here and say the Chiefs cannot win the Super Bowl without Odell or can’t beat the bills without a doubt is incorrect. But if they get Odell, they become right next to Buffalo Bill lockstep right now they’re behind buffalo just straight up they are, then they become right next to Buffalo when it comes to their chances.”
Whether or not Odell Beckham Jr. signs with the Kansas City Chiefs remains to be seen, but if he ends up in the same offense as Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs will have a great opportunity of winning the Super Bowl.
