Frank Reich was fired by the Indianapolis Colts after a poor start to the season, and Colin Cowherd wasn’t impressed by it.

Indianapolis Colts recently fired Frank Reich from the head coach position after a poor start to the season. They are currently 3-5-1 and having already benched quarterback Matt Ryan things were looking bad for them.

Colts owner Jim Irsay it was enough and decided to part ways with the head coach. However, not many people were impressed by Irsay’s decision to fire Frank Reich and one of them was Colin Cowherd.

Talking about it, Colin Cowherd said, “Toughest thing about coaching in the NFL isn’t the players. It’s the billionaire owners. They’re impulsive. Jim Irsay wanted Carson Wentz out despite 27 TDs and seven picks.”

He added, “And so frank Reich had to deal with Matt Ryan, old immobile, less athletic juice. And this is what you have. Frank Reich’s a good coach, he’ll get a job there’s not much to work with here at the quarterback spot. Dealing with impulsive owners is really hard, or say wanted went out. This is what you’re left with.”

The Colts have decided to bring in former O-Linemen Jeff Saturday to be the interim head coach of the team until the end of the season and many are stunned by this decision taken by the franchise.
