Nick Wright doesn’t believe that the Denver Broncos led by Russell Wilson will be a serious contender in the upcoming NFL season.
Many people are labeling the Denver Broncos as a Super Bowl contender following the arrival of star quarterback Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks. They believe that the Broncos are in a similar situation to what the Bucs were when Tom Brady arrived, and the Rams were when Matthew Stafford arrived.
However, Nick Wright isn’t believing in the hype of the Broncos as of now. He knows that they are a part of a very tough division, and Russell Wilson being on a new team won’t help his case to fight in the AFC West.
Talking about it, Nick Wright said, “Folks are WAY too high on the Broncos. First-year head coach, questions on the OL, a quarterback coming off his worst year ever, in the toughest division in football. They’ll be happy to finish above .500 for the first time in 6 years.”
The AFC West has the Kansas City Chiefs, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Las Vegas Raiders along with the Denver Broncos, and all four teams have a great chance of winning the Super Bowl.
Due to it, Nick Wright isn’t sold about the Broncos yet because they were the worst team in their division last season and have been a bad team since Peyton Manning retired. Russell Wilson will be a great addition to the team, but still, it is going to be very tough for them.
