All you need to know whether Patrick Mahomes is fully healthy for the AFC Championship Game tonight.

Patrick Mahomes

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to face the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game for the second straight season. The Bengals come into this game after defeating the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round while the Chiefs outlasted the Jacksonville Jaguars in their divisional round fixture.

This will be a clash of the first and third seeds of the AFC as Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow aim to write another glorious chapter in what might become one of the greatest rivalries in the NFL for years to come.

A lot is at stake for both franchises in this game as the Chiefs are being underestimated by many whereas the Bengals have done too much talking prior to the game, and if they fail to show up, they will be criticized heavily.

Update on the health of Patrick Mahomes:

Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, has made a great recovery from the ankle injury he suffered during the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and will be ready to go for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. This is a significant game for his legacy, and it is reasonable to anticipate that he will play at a high level against an outstanding defensive unit.

Player to watch out for in Kansas City Chiefs vs Cincinnati Bengals:

  • Mecole Hardman – Chiefs

Due to an injury, Mecole Hardman has not participated in a game since Week 9, although it is anticipated that he will do so on Sunday. This will be a significant game for him because he will have the chance to exact revenge on the Bengals for the loss they inflicted on him the previous year and also have some fun with Eli Apple later on. Hardman may find himself in a position to have a productive day as the Bengals are expected to target Travis Kelce.

Game Prediction:

The Kansas City Chiefs are highly motivated for this fixture against the Cincinnati Bengals as they have lost three games in a row against them. Last season, the Bengals knocked the Chiefs out of the playoffs in the Championship Game, and as a result, we can expect the men in Red to be at their best.

Injuries to key players on the Bengals squad have also tilted the advantage in the favor of the home team, and we can expect a big game from the Chiefs’ defense as well against Joe Burrow and co.

  • Kansas City Chiefs to win the game and reach their third Super Bowl in the Patrick Mahomes era.
