The Los Angeles Chargers are set to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3 of this new NFL season. Both the teams are currently at 1-1, as they have won one game, and also lost one game. The Jaguars won against the Colts but lost their opening game to the Commanders.

On the other hand, the Los Angeles Chargers led by star quarterback Justin Herbert won their opening game against the Las Vegas Raiders, but the Kansas City Chiefs got the better of them in Week 2. They have a great chance of going back to winning ways, as they are a much more complete team than the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jaguars have a new head coach Doug Pederson who is doing well, but he knows the challenge ahead of him that is the Chargers and their quarterback Justin Herbert.

Talking about Herbert, Doug Pederson said, “They’ve surrounded him with early with some good talented guys, the run game, the receiving corps. And they’re playing good defense, too, since they’ve been there. Really, it’s the mentality of the coach, too.”

He added, “Brandon Staley is an aggressive guy and that’s how the team, they’re going to feed off of that. That’s kind of the idea here, too, is that the team will feed off of the tone that I set for them. You see that with this group. This group flies around. “And that quarterback… He can run, he’s talented with his legs, obviously. He’s turning himself into a really good passer.”

The Jaguars also have players that can make some big plays, but the Chargers have a more complete team, which is why they’ll head into this game as the favorites to get the job done.

Doug Pederson also lauded the receivers that Justin Herbert has

The Los Angeles Chargers have one of the best rosters in the NFL. They have great defense and great wide receivers in the form of Keenan Allen, and Mike Williams. Doug Pederson is well aware of the threat that the Chargers’ offense possess on Sunday.

Talking about Keenan Allen, and Mike Williams, the Jaguars HC said, “Two really good players — two big, physical guys, too,” Pederson said. “It’s going to take all hands on deck in our secondary, whether you end up doubling a guy or sometimes you’ve just got to lock up man-to-man and play, maybe on third down. But our guys will battle.”

The Los Angeles Chargers will be looking to make a statement win in Week 3. They lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in a heartbreaking manner after Justin Herbert threw a pick-six, but here they have a great chance of redeeming themselves against the Jaguars.

On the other hand, a young Jaguars team can cause an upset and show the world that they can make some noise this season. Trevor Lawrence will be ready for this moment, as he will go against one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
