Due to his elite performances, Richard Sherman believes Geno Smith deserves to be a pro bowler this season.
The Seattle Seahawks were primed to have one of the worst records in the NFL following the departure of Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos, but so far they have exceeded all the expectations that were set for them.
Quarterback Geno Smith has played out of this world, and his performances have been one of the biggest reasons why the Seahawks are currently the team at the top in a loaded NFC West. Former Seahawks player Richard Sherman was very impressed by Geno Smith, and had words of praise for the Seahawks quarterback.
Richard Sherman said about Geno Smith, “He has to be a pro bowler. He has to he has to be an all star for this league. And he’s on pace to be one. If they’re doing Pro Bowl voting. Geno Smith, better be get a Pro Bowl vote this year. And if he keeps this up, I mean, he might. He might sneak in and get all pro-vote.”
Sherman added, “Who knows. But he better be on the NFCs Pro Bowl team because he’s playing like one of the best quarterbacks on that side of the football, especially with Tom and Aaron having down years, like Geno Smith is showing up in a big way and earned himself a lot of money next year. I bet the Seahawks was they had him tied up for few years right now.”
Hopefully, Geno Smith will continue to play as he has done so far, and it is very likely he will end up in the Pro Bowl this year, which will be a great achievement for him.
