Nick Wright believes Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is better than Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

Joe Burrow

Joe Burrow, the Cincinnati Bengals‘ starting quarterback, is a bit of a rarity. He has been playing exceptionally well since recovering from an ACL injury suffered during his rookie season. His calmness on the football field is admired by many.

There has been much discussion over who, after Patrick Mahomes, is the best quarterback in football. Some believe it is Burrow, while others believe it is Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Nick Allen believes the former is superior to the latter.

Talking about it, Nick Wright said, “Joe Burrow is obviously the better player. Joe burrow has been better than Josh Allen. At every moment. And every football step. He’s been better and he’s accomplished more. As a rookie Joe burrow barely played and was injured and still was better than Josh Allen was, Josh Allen’s rookie year was historically bad.”

He added, “As a second-year player, Josh Allen was okay. Joe Burrow made the Super Bowl and as a third-year player, Josh Allen was an MVP candidate that fell short of it, and Joe burrow this year is an MVP candidate that will fall short of it. Joe burrows better, he’s more consistent, he’s more accurate, he is more clutch and he has accomplished more. Joe Burrow is by any fair definition the second-best quarterback in football second best to someone we will not name.”

Burrow and the Bengals can win the Super Bowl this season. They are peaking at the right exact moment and having already defeated the Chiefs last season in the AFC Championship Game, you can’t rule them out going all the way this year.
