New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones was happy by the way Jakobi Meyers took the blame for the loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
The New England Patriots were defeated by the Las Vegas Raiders the week before because of one of the most inept plays in the history of the National Football League.
Mac Jones, the quarterback for the Patriots, and Jacobi Meyers, a wide receiver for the Patriots, were at the center of that play, and the entire world made fun of both of them as well as their head coach, Bill Belichick.
Jacobi Meyers did admit responsibility for the defeat, and Mac Jones expressed his satisfaction with the manner in which the player took accountability for the error that he committed in that play.
Speaking about it, Jones said, “That’s what football is all about, Sometimes when things don’t go your way, you’ve just got to bounce back, and I definitely look at him as a great leader on our team. So he’s setting a great example, and now we’re just getting ready for this week. He’s done a great job.”
The Patriots have had a fairly average season, therefore it is highly unlikely that they will make it to the postseason. Despite the fact that they are still in the hunt for the playoffs, it is very unlikely that they will make it. Due to the absence of Josh McDaniels, Jones has not been able to communicate well with Joe Judge and Matt Patricia.
This has proven to be a significant setback for the team. Everyone is excited to watch what happens after this season with the coaching staff of the Patriots since there is a possibility that it may be changed.
