“I don’t want to get into the exact number…” – Houston Texans GM on the amount of teams that were interested for trading Deshaun Watson
The general manager of the Houston Texans further said, “Going back to the earlier questions, I think there was a certain threshold that I had established in order to make it a legitimate discussion, and if we got to that point then we could engage further. I don’t want to get into the exact number, but there were a few more, however many teams than what everybody was reporting towards the end.”
It was clear that Deshaun when available would become the hottest property available in the league as his quality on the field is well known for everyone which is why everyone wanted to get their hands on him as he can shape the future of a franchise and lead them to a potential Super Bowl triumph in the future.
