Skip Bayless respects what Jalen Hurts has done this season for the Philadelphia Eagles in just his second season as a starter.
One of the main reasons the Philadelphia Eagles are thought of as a Super Bowl candidate is that Jalen Hurts has led the team from the front. Hurts was in MVP contention with the Eagles, who have the best record in football, but his most recent injury has led him to drop in the standings.
One of the most ardent Dallas Cowboys supporters, Skip Bayless, recently discussed how terrific Hurts is and how crucial he is to the Eagles. Despite the Eagles being the Cowboys’ main foe, Bayless didn’t hold back while praising their young quarterback.
Speaking about Hurts, Bayless said, “Allow me as a Cowboy fan, to just take a moment of your time to recognize and honor the 14-game achievement of Jalen Hurts, the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback. I admire this young man so much because of his intangibles.”
He added, “His work ethic, his resilience. His scrap, his fight, his football backbone, his leadership, his command of the position. His big playmaking in his supreme will. The day during the draft that the Eagles stole in the second round, I immediately tweeted Jalen Hurts will be better than Carson Wentz.”
Jalen Hurts is expected to be fully healthy for the playoffs, and if he is able to face the Dallas Cowboys come the postseason, it’s going to be a great spectacle for the fans.
