Skip Bayless gave his opinion on Odell Beckham Jr. indicating a return to the New York Giants ahead of the new NFL season.
Odell Beckham Jr. is still a free agent. This is mainly because he is still recovering from the injury that he suffered in last season’s Super Bowl, which his team eventually won.
Recently, rumors emerged about OBJ looking to return to the New York Giants. This has left many people surprised, and one of them was Skip Bayless.
Skip Bayless thinks that OBJ is pitching the idea of him joining that team because he isn’t sure about his future with the Los Angeles Rams as he is still not signed by the franchise.
Skip Bayless gave his view on the situation, and said, “This Is the Ultimate Act of Desperation Odell Is Indicating Yeah I Would Love to Come Back Because He’s Got Unfinished Business There Unfortunately Eli Retired Right I Think He Retired the Last Time I Looked He’s Gone and It Feels Like Daniel Jones Never Got There in the First.”
Skip Bayless can’t believe that Odell Beckham Jr. is thinking about any other team than the Rams
Odell Beckham Jr. proved everyone wrong with his performances for the Los Angeles Rams. He was able to bring his career back on track, and because of it, Skip Bayless finds it hard to believe that OBJ is looking to join any other team.
Skip Bayless said, “No No No No No No No No Okay It Is Still Curious to Me Why the Rams Just Didn’t Go Ahead and Lock up Odell Even Though He Has Ways to Go With His ACL Rehab, Yes and It Just There There’s Something Wrong With This Picture Why Didn’t They Jump on This.”
He added, “I think Odell Is Starting to Get a Little Antsy Why Wouldn’t They Just Say We’ll Give You X and It Doesn’t Have to Be a Whole Lot of My I Know He Wants His Money but Nobody’s Jumping On Him Why Wouldn’t He Go Back to the Greatest Situation He Ever Fell Into Which Was Opposite of Cooper Kupp.”
Certainly, OBJ is a great fit on the loaded Rams and due to it, he should only focus to return there. He has great chemistry with the quarterback Matthew Stafford and that will help him to slot right into the squad after he gets healthy.
Cooper Kupp earlier gave an update about OBJ’s return to the Rams
Cooper Kupp had a great partnership with OBJ, and together they dominated the playoffs for the Rams. A few months ago, Kupp gave an update on the potential return of Odell Beckham Jr. to the Rams.
Talking about it, Kupp had said, “I would absolutely love nothing more than just to be able to have him come back and be a part of what we’re building here, What he was able to do coming into this offense, learning it, and then being able to go and execute the way he did was absolutely incredible.”
Cooper added, “Just as a person, as a teammate, how he was in our building, I would absolutely love nothing more than to just be able to have him come back and be a part of what we’re building here.”
Hopefully, the Los Angeles Rams will be able to bring back their WR2 for a season where they are aiming to repeat as Super Bowl champs. Once OBJ gets healthy, the situation will become very clear pretty soon.
