Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars have secured their playoff spot by winning the AFC South in a great fashion.
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence and the team have clinched the AFC South division title and earned a berth in the playoffs with their victory over the Tennessee Titans in Week 18.
This is a remarkable turnaround for the organization, which finished with the NFL’s poorest record the previous year while Urban Meyer was serving as their head coach. Doug Pederson, a former head coach for the Eagles, is in his first season as head coach of the Jaguars and has already helped improve Trevor Lawrence and guided the team to a division title. The success of the Jaguars has also brought Robert Griffin III a great deal of joy.
Speaking about it, RG III said, “Jaguar’s fans have been HUNGRY for a moment like this and had the stadium ROCKING. Worst to first in one year. AFC SOUTH CHAMPS sounds nice.”
The Jacksonville Jaguars will finish as the fourth seed in the AFC as a result of their victory in the AFC South division. The consequence of this will most likely be a matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC Wild Card Round.
Fans are going to be captivated as two of the most talented young quarterbacks in the game, Trevor Lawrence and Justin Herbert, compete against each other in what promises to be an exciting matchup.
