Kansas City Chiefs vs Arizona Cardinals: Match Prediction, Injury Report & Players to watch out for

Published by

The Kansas City Chiefs led by Patrick Mahomes will face the Arizona Cardinals in week 1 to kick off their new campaign.

The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Arizona Cardinals on 11th September 2022 to kickstart their new NFL season. In what will be the start of a new era for the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes and his offensive unit will play their first game following the exit of star WR Tyreek Hill in the offseason.

On the other hand, the situation in Arizona is now under control as quarterback Kyler Murray signed a long extension to stay with the team for the foreseeable future. The Chiefs are without their former WR1 and so are the Cardinals as DeAndre Hopkins will be missing the start of the season as he is still serving a suspension.

This will be a closely fought game as two teams with high aspirations will go against each other to start their new campaign, and two great quarterbacks will be locked in to prove their critics wrong.

Player to watch out for in Kansas City Chiefs vs Arizona Cardinals

  • Travis Kelce – Kansas City Chiefs

With Tyreek Hill leaving the team, Travis Kelce could be in for a huge game against the Cardinals in week 1. Even though the Chiefs have some elite talent on their offensive unit, Mahomes would love to go to his trustable option TE Travis Kelce, and he could be a difference-maker in this game.

Match Prediction & Telecast Details:

The Kansas City Chiefs are still loaded, and they have improved their defense as well this offseason. The Cardinals also have a great team, but this Chiefs team led by Patrick Mahomes, who is arguably the best quarterback in the game will be expected to get the job done and start the season with a win.

  • Kansas City Chiefs to win the game and cover -4.5 points against the Arizona Cardinals.
