Matthew Stafford takes the blame for the Los Angeles Rams’ struggles this season

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford hasn’t played well this season and he took the blame for his team’s struggles.

The Los Angeles Rams are off to a terrible start to this season, and the team that won the Super Bowl just last year has a real chance of being left out of the postseason because the road that lies ahead of them isn’t getting any easier.

They are now 3-5 after suffering a defeat at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday. Both the head coach, Sean McVay, and the quarterback, Matthew Stafford, have stated that they are not impressed by their team’s performance thus far this season.

Matthew Stafford hasn’t played well at all this season and following the loss to the Buccaneers, he took much of the blame on himself for his team’s struggles.

Talking about it, Matthew Stafford said, “We made a couple big plays in the passing game, but my biggest frustration was our inefficiency, my inefficiency.”  The Rams quarterback has a passer rating of 84.9 with 1,928 yards, 8 touchdowns and 8 interceptions in 8 games this season.

They will face the Arizona Cardinals in a must-win game next up and hopefully, the LA Rams led by Matthew Stafford will be able to snap their losing streak against their division rivals.
