Davante Adams is willing to stay with the Las Vegas Raiders even if Derek Carr is not a part of the franchise next season.
Davante Adams was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders from the Green Bay Packers prior to this season and came up with high expectations. He got the opportunity to play with his best friend Derek Carr, but so far the outcome has been terrible.
Carr has already been taken out of the starting lineup for the Raiders, and it is quite probable that the team will split ways with him in the upcoming offseason. As a consequence of this, many people have the belief that Adams will likewise attempt to follow Carr’s example and proceed in the direction of the escape door. This is not the case, however, since Adams has demonstrated a desire to continue working at the fraternity regardless of Carr’s presence.
Speaking about it, Davante Adams said, “I wouldn’t have been here or ended up here, originally, probably if Derek wasn’t here, But that doesn’t necessarily mean that I won’t be here in the event that he’s not here. That’s my boy. Obviously, I’ve got his back through anything. I think I’ve made that more than clear at this point. I support him and I support everything that he has moving forward as well.”
He added, “But my dream was to play for this team before he was a Raider, and at this point I want to try to make this thing work and continue on doing what I’m doing here, myself get better and see the team grow and get better as well.”
It is currently uncertain who will start at quarterback for the Raiders, and whoever it is is likely to have a significant impact on whether or not Adams will remain with the team. It is not yet guaranteed that Adams will demonstrate a desire to stay in Las Vegas if the organization decides to rebuild because he wants to win a Super Bowl as soon as possible.
Davante Adams wants to stay in the loop for the choice of future quarterback
Davante Adams would like to remain informed on the selection of the new quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders as his best friend Derek Carr is on the verge of leaving the team. Carr is likely to get traded after the Super Bowl.
Speaking about it, he said, “Me, Josh, Ziggs, we’ve all got a really good dynamic and it’s something that I really appreciate, and I’ve mentioned it to them as well, They don’t have to do anything, I’m not a part of the front office, but they know the reason why I came here.”
He added, “A step like this is something that means a lot to me and my personal career and what I’m trying to chase as far as the ultimate pursuit, to get that ring. We’ve got a good understanding for one another and that helps this whole process.”
There have been rumors that the Raiders are interested in signing Tom Brady as well, and doing so would undoubtedly be in the team’s best interest. Despite this, they are still in an excellent position to choose a young quarterback, and they have the option to move up to obtain someone like C.J. Stroud if he is available in the draught.
Adams is interested in playing for the Raiders since their offense is one of the finest in the NFL. If the club is successful in acquiring a quality quarterback for the upcoming season, they will be in a position to compete for a playoff spot, and Adams wants to be a part of it.
