Aaron Donald suffered a high ankle sprain in Los Angeles Rams; Week 12 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs, resulting in being sidelined for the next showdown against the Seattle Seahawks. Being nowhere near defending their title since the beginning of the current season, misery seems to have reached an all-time high for the concerned party.
There is no surprise in stating that at this point, Rams’ 2022-23 season is over. Being ruled out due to injury, it doesn’t make sense for Aaron Donald to make his way back as even consecutive victories in all of their remaining games will not secure their berth in the postseason. However, Donald doesn’t know the meaning of quitting by any means.
While many might find it confusing to witness Donald coming back to the field, his return would make no affect on Rams’ form and playoff aspirations. But, safe to state that just because the season hasn’t gone their way doesn’t mean that Donald is going to give up on his team and the rest of the organization as a whole.
What next for Rams, Aaron Donald?
From Von Miller to Odell Beckham Jr., Rams were without some of their key pieces which secured them the Super Bowl last time around. Moreover, with Matthew Stafford being one of those veterans who failed to perform at his usual standards, Rams failed to choke their opponents like last season.
Apart from Aaron Donald, even stars like Cooper Kupp and Stafford are also placed on the injury reserve, pretty much signifying that the hopes are all done and dusted for this campaign for the defending champions.
