Green Bay Packers’ fan base surely wouldn’t be happy about Aaron Rodgers and his performance in the 2022-23 season. Having to struggle with a thumb injury for the past of weeks, the Green Army are yet to witness the best of their #1 QB. It clearly seems to have affected his performance on the field, due to which the Packers have fallen way behind Minnesota Vikings in their respective division.
Packers are currently on a 4-game losing skid and are going to lock horns against the Detroit Lions in Week 9. At all costs they need to win against the Lions, if they are hoping to keep their playoff hopes alive in this season. Moreover, Aaron Rodgers has given his injury update, which is not pleasing by any means.
Rodgers stated, “Well, I heard it was going to be just a jog-through, so I figured I might as well get down there and be around, I wish I could tell you it was feeling better.”
The reigning MVP added, “But it was more just the necessity of jog-through, and feel like my presence down there was kind of more important today than an hour of rehab.”
The Green Bay Packers #1 quarterback has a passer rating of 94.5. He has thrown for 1,800 yards, 13 touchdowns and 4 interceptions this season. That being said, the veteran Quarterback – Rodgers is 18-6 versus the Lions in his career.
During these mentioned 24 games, he has a passer rating of 108.8 with 6,055 yards, 52 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Given that this team is desperately wanting to turn things around, Aaron Rodgers needs to be at the helm of it.
