Green Bay Packers seemed to have sparked a positive momentum when they beat Dallas Cowboys in Week 10. However, came the game against Tennessee Titans, Aaron Rodgers and Co. were at their most vulnerable once again, losing out in bizarre fashion.
With the just six games remaining, Aaron Rodgers’ team will have to win all of them in order to have any hopes of qualifying for the playoffs. That being said, the 38-year-old was able to lead his team to a comeback against the Cowboys but not against Titans at Lambeau Field, making Skip Bayless get brutally honest on what he feels for the veteran star.
On the latest episode of Undisputed, Bayless said, “I am here to officially announce that Aaron Rodgers is washed up, as in defunct, as in after the game. I have never seen him so humble. As in humbled. Yeah. As in resigned to his fate. Oh, no player knows what just happened. Yeah, it just ended right before his very eyes. And for once he was saying, ‘I just couldn’t make the throws. I don’t know why. I just couldn’t make them.’”
Did Aaron Rodgers once again disappoint against Titans?
The 70-year-old analyst observed that Aaron Rodgers failed to find wide-open receivers. Which eventually caused the team to slow down on the offensive end, especially when they required to score.
He added, “After the Dallas game on Sunday evening, I felt like I threw the ball just about exactly where I wanted to against the Dallas Cowboys. So, Mr. Sharp, yes. As you well know, I see the NFL world through the metallic blue prism of the Dallas Cowboys.”
The veteran sports media personality emphasized on how he expected Aaron Rodgers to maintain his consistency. Having beaten the Cowboys, Bayless was actually rooting for Rodgers to lead his young o-line past Titans to gain some momentum.
“I was actually rooting for Aaron Rodgers, too, to validate what he did against my Cowboys and make it a trend instead of that blip. Right. Because he is a notorious Cowboy killer. So is his running mate. I think the more valuable Aaron to me, Aaron Jones, they are notorious Cowboy killers, but I wanted them to go on and do it to Tennessee on a Thursday night, just four days later, albeit at home.”
