There are plenty of former NFL stars who have shared the court with Pro Bowler Antonio Brown and have often revealed their distress in the latter’s recent antics. Having moved away from the football field, it seems like the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR has taken an altogether different road, which only leads him to make the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
So when Shannon Sharpe, who has often criticized AB via his social media had Michael Virk over his podcast, he was quick to know about his feelings. To those who are unaware, Virk and Brown were teammates and even had success together in the five games they played together.
Michael Virk said on the released episode of Club Shay Shay, “He (Antonio Brown) was a hard worker…believed in himself… loved Big Ben. He was into smart understood the system…. would just get a little agitated if he didn’t get the ball right.”
Virk was quick to acknowledge how hardworking and athletic Antonio Brown was, but perhaps the only drawback in his game was (at that time) that Brown would get agitated if he wasn’t always being handed the ball.
To bring everyone on the same page, Virk might’ve seen the best of AB, so perhaps he was all praise about his game. Michael Vick played in five games with the Pittsburgh Steelers while starting three during the 2015-16 season.
Yes! You guess it right – this was the same season wherein Antonio Brown had a career performance as he recorded a career-high 1,834 receiving yards. He also added a career-high 136 receptions while scoring 10 TouchDown, so now you know what version of AB, this former Quarterback has seen, while stating the same.
