How can we get past an action-packed week of football and not talk about the most controversial figure – Antonio Brown? After getting behind Tom Brady and Derek Carr in the past few weeks, the former NFL wide receiver got behind Green Bay Packers’ #1 Quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.
The Green Army suffered their seventh loss of the season after bowing out against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night. With just a loss away from being thrown out of the playoff race, Antonio Brown made use of the perfect opportunity to throw shades at the reigning MVP citing the exit of Davante Adams.
Brown wrote in his tweet, “I bet Arod appreciate the WRs now, wonder why (Davante) Adams left”
Was Antonio Brown right about dissing Aaron Rodgers?
The Green Bay Packers #1 Quarterback has had a drastic falloff this season and many believe the quarterback is no longer his usual self. Having already come under the radar of retirement, Rodgers hasn’t been able to perform at his usual standard. To justify this, the reigning MVP has a passer rating of 93.2 with 2,542 yards, 19 TouchDowns, and seven interceptions in 11 games this season.
Talking about the person who left Aaron Rodgers’ unit, Davante Adam has had a productive season so far. He has 64 catches for 925 yards and has scored 10 TouchDowns in 10 games this season.
Will Adams be able to feature in the postseason, as it seems like his former teammate is about to miss it? Remains to be seen.
