If you ever want a witness a true footballing connection between two friends – just look at the highlights of Sunday’s contest between Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers. AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts combined for three emphatic first half TouchDowns, and all of those were more than 25-yards.
With AJ Brown evidently being happy after Eagles stretched their winning streak to seven games, his happiness was cut short when he was apparently called for a random drug test. Being in a state of shock, the Eagles’ wide receiver took a cheeky dig on the NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell while informing everybody about the incident.
Brown wrote, “I would have a drug test this morning huh lol…Rogerrrrr this is not random.”
The #1 team in the NFC East have been soaring high all season long. A large credit of which goes to AJ Brown and his offensive prowess. He hasn’t just been fast, quick and agile, but his positing has often given Hurts – inexplicable freedom.
Now to bring everyone on the same page regarding the NFL drug testing protocol. Most major leagues have this system in place, which has led to moments like what happened to AJ Brown in this case.
This isn’t the first time that AJ Brown has been sensational in leading a team. Last season around, he took the Tennessee Titans to the numero uno spot in the AFC, but unfortunately were knocked out in the divisional round. Brown would be focusing upon the Eagles not making the same mistake. Given that they are unarguably the best team in the 2022-23 season so far, AJ Brown would be hoping for them to maintain the same form in the knockout stage as well.
