Minnesota Vikings’ Quarterback – Kirk Cousins has tons of potential, due to which he has been given the responsibility to lead a franchise. Having been inconsistent in the recent weeks, the 34-year-old rose to the occasion when his team needed him the most against the Arizona Cardinals. Some would even suggest that he answered his critics in the most dynamic fashion.

The Vikings have been the surprise the package of the NFC North division. Having to outrace the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears, they are the top of their respective division and Kirk Cousins just went onto show why they are serious contenders for the Super Bowl berths.  

In other close encounter, Kirk Cousins accounted for three TouchDowns as the Vikings beat Cardinals 34-26 in Minneapolis. Interestingly, this was the fifth time that Vikings won by eight points or fewer.

NFL Fans react to Kirk Cousins heroics in Vikings win over Cardinals

Kirk Cousins completed 24 of 36 passes for 232 passing yards and two touchdowns while adding a score on the ground. Take a look at how the NFL Fans cheered for him as he started to sprinkle his magic on the field since the early minutes.

Cousins ran for a 17-yard score on a third-and-4 play with 10:12 left in the first quarter. Then he hit tight end Johnny Mundt for a 1-yard touchdown with 9:54 remaining in the second quarter.

When Kirk Cousins’ Vikings took a brief 17-14 lead in the third quarter, Cardinals cut the lead to 28-26 on a 38-yard pass to WR Ronadale Moore and a 34-yard field goal by Matt Prater, minutes later. However, four plays later it was the Vikings’ #1 QB hit KJ Osborn on a 5-yard TouchDown pass with just over 8 minutes remaining to play.
