Baker’s exit from the Browns was looming since the franchise was linked to Deshaun Watson. The arrival of Waston from Houston confirmed that the Browns were shopping Baker, and a deal has finally gone through.

Baker Mayfield will now fight for the starting quarterback role for the Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers already have many quarterbacks at their helm. The inclusion of Baker Mayfield will make things very interesting, as he is in the best position to become the starting quarterback for them.
However, he’ll need to fight for the spot against Sam Darnold and Matt Corrall. With the Panthers not looking to trade any of their quarterbacks, the competition in their camp will be quite tough, and as a result, the Panthers fans are looking for an exciting season ahead.
