The NFL free agency period begins in just over two weeks and several teams will be looking to bolster their respective rosters before pre-season training begins.

With four Super Bowls on his CV, Rob Gronkowski will certainly be a target for suitors in the free agency after his contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ends this month. However, the 32-year-old is yet to issue any sort of formal proclamation about his pro football future.

Gronk has reportedly been training at the Bucs facility twice a week. But with speculation around the star tight end, we take a look at the possible destinations for him before the 2022 season begins.

Where will Gronk play his football next season?

According to reports from the Billswire, the Buffalo Bills are the favourites to make a swoop for Rob Gronkowski. More so, because Gronk is a Buffalo native and may want a perfect homecoming before he bows out of the league.

Reports claim that the Bills organization also feel that Gronkowski could be the man to take them to the next level in 2022. Sports betting outlet Bookies.com state that the Bills have the best odds to bring Gronk back to his roots.

The Cardinals, Packers, Bears, Dolphins, 49ers and Chargers have also been linked with Gronk. Last season, the five-time Pro Bowler totalled 802 yards receiving and caught six TD passes in twelve games this past season. Gronkowski draws a lot of coverage and a lot of injuries.

Gronk played nine seasons with the New England Patriots before announcing his retirement in 2018. However, in 2020, he returned to the NFL with the Bucs and along with Brady, helped the franchise win the Super Bowl.
