Bruce Arians opened up about the recently returned Tom Brady
Tom Brady recently came back from his retirement to come back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as he sought to add more glory to what already has been a glorious career so far.
Brady’s comeback has made life easy for the team who were in need of another quarterback to replace him if he had stayed retired, to contend for at least a playoffs spot.
Bruce Arians, the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was one of the happiest people in the world after Tom Brady had announced that he was coming back as he knows that Brady is the right man to lead this team.
Talking about Tom Brady, he said, “The way he played last year, it might have been his best year ever, There’s no drop-off, Week 16, playoffs, he was on fire. And there won’t be any drop-off this year.”
He added, “Coming after the season I said, ‘Tom, how do you feel?’ He said, “This is the best physically I’ve felt in years after a season.’ So I say, ‘Okay, we’ll keep that light on for sure, brother.'”
“They know what Tom brings and we got a shot for another ring”- Bruce Arians on the impact of Tom Brady on players re-signing with the team
Bruce Arians further talked about how big of an impact Tom Brady plays in the players electing to re-sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and said, “They know what Tom brings and we got a shot for another ring. And that’s it. That’s the bottom line, It’s all about the ring again. Not reloading, not seeing who’s going to do this, who’s going to do that, how we are we going to fit this guy in. Everybody knows their role again right now.”
He added, “The smile really hasn’t come off my face. I’m drinking too much, but other than that it’s been a constant celebration. It was huge for us to have Tom back.”
With the return of Tom Brady, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are now the second favorites to win it all this season just behind the Buffalo Bills as they seek to repeat the heroics of the 2020-2021 season where they won the Super Bowl in the first season of Tom Brady at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
