After making a terrific start in the 2022-23 regular season, the Buffalo Bills seems to have made big plans to improve their roster. Given that the numero uno AFC East team are solid Super Bowl contenders, they seem to be lining up to acquire one of New Orleans Saints’ marquee stars as per the latest revelation.
So, who is this player being chased by Buffalo Bills? The team has inquired about running back Alvin Kamara. But as per Fox Sports football insider Jay Glazer, the Bills will have to look in other direction as the Saints are not willing to give up on Kamara and have turned the concerned team down.
“The Buffalo Bills are trying to make a splash,” Glazer revealed on Sunday’s pregame show, “They already were in it for Christian McCaffrey, but what people don’t know is they actually called for Alvin Kamara this week. They were rebuffed there, but look, there are still other running backs out on the market. Kareem Hunt, Jeff Wilson or Cam Akers. Certainly not on the level of Alvin Kamara but could be had.”
The Buffalo Bills have a strong offensive unit, which has managed to secure majority of their wins so far in the 2022-23 regular season, yet their backfield issues are something which ca hamper their trajectory in the knockout games.
Especially with Christian McCaffrey being traded by the Panthers to the Niners for four draft picks right before the deadline, teams are looking to make big moves only.
That being said, the Bills are locking horns against Aaron Rodgers’ Green Bay Packers in their latest showdown. Given that the latter has been an unsettled unit, who have failed to unite on the field, Buffalo Bills enter the above-mentioned game as favorites.
