Calais Campbell boosts the hype train of Jaguars Quarterback Trevor Lawrence

Trevor Lawrence had a huge Week 12 matchday against the Baltimore Ravens. Not only did he cause an upset, but a last-minute winner even made his opponents praise him for his worthy effort. When things got out of hands, Lawrence capped the Jacksonville Jaguars’ effort with a 10-play, 75-yard drive resulting in a TouchDown by WR Marvin Jones Jr. and a successful 2-point conversion.

This led to Ravens defensive lineman Calais Campbell applaud the worthy effort of the #1 overall draft pick – Trevor Lawrence, who simply ahs got the hype train behind him. And unsurprisingly, it is the former Jaguar to have joined in.

As per Adam Stites of Jaguars Wire, Calais said, “As long as it doesn’t affect us, I root for them, just because, I mean, the blessing they gave me allowed me to play here. … I think the fan base, I think they’re in for a treat. I think you saw what Trevor Lawrence can be today if he continues to get better and continues to improve. With these weapons, they can win some ball games.”

Lawrence did not have a good 2021 season, wherein the entire Jacksonville Jaguars struggled throughout the regular season. Although. this season hasn’t been much fruitful for them, they have at least shown signs of improvement, with Lawrence being at the helm of taking charge offensively.
