Kyler Murray has not been consistent for the Arizona Cardinals in the 2022-23 season, courtesy to his injury scare time and again. In Week 14, he was carted off the field once again in the first quarter of Monday Night Football vs the New England Patriots after suffering a non-contact knee injury.
Initially the Arizona Cardinals ruled him questionable, giving hopes to the fans upon what they could expect from their Quarterback. However, the reality was that the injury report was much worse to the Cardinals were expecting.
After giving a brief look at the injury report, the concerned team ruled him out in an instance. Now it comes to be known that Kyler Murray suffered a serious knee injury, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. “As it appeared almost immediately, the fear is that AZ Cardinals QB Kyler Murray suffered a serious knee injury, source said. An MRI and other tests are coming.”
The Cardinals have dropped two straight games and are now 4-8 in the regular season. Perhaps justifying how they’ve played the entire regular season. A season which was full of difficulties and hardship for them, and it continued in the game against Bill Belichick’s New England Patriots.
Kyler Murray had thrown for 2,359 passing yards with 14 TouchDowns and seven interceptions along with 415 yards on the ground.
Now likely without one of the most exciting players in the NFL, things won’t get any easier for the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football- or in the foreseeable future.
