Chandler Jones opened up about his partnership with Max Crosby

Chandler Jones recently signed a three-year contract worth $54.5 million contract to play for the Las Vegas Raiders. Jones had spent the last six years of his career at the Arizona Cardinals.

The Raiders have also stacked up against their roster with the inclusion of players like Chandler Jones and Davante Adams that will help them to contend in the toughest division in the NFL which is the AFC West.

Chandler Jones will be forming up a formidable duo with Max Crosby who also recently signed a new contract with the Raiders for 4-years which will keep the defense of the Raiders at an elite level for the foreseeable future.

Talking about his decision to join the Raiders, he said, “Credit a lot to my decision the team success, the quarterback, obviously, having familiarity with the front office, and to have the opportunity to rush with the best up-and-coming defensive end in the NFL,”

He further talked about Max Crosby and said, “I’ve been watching his game, cutting up the tape with him before I was his teammate, so now that we’re in the same room, I mean that’s dangerous.”

Chandler Jones further talked about what he brings to the table and said, “What I try to bring with myself is leadership, and not just leading by demand but leading by example,”

He added, “Spreading that culture that I know. Telling the guys that the biggest goal is to win, which they do know, but winning, focusing on winning. That’s the best thing you can possibly do in this league is win. As long as the guys get that through and I’m sure they do, but as long as that’s preached to these guys, we’re gonna be good, we’ll be fine.”

There is no denying the fact that the Raiders have improved their squad with the addition of Jones in their lineup but it will be interesting to see how their seasons pan out as they face a tough challenge to make the playoffs.
