Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers lost only four games in the entirety of 2021-22 season. In the first seven weeks of this season, they have already matched that tally. This led to the reigning MVP blaming his teammates of making continuous mistakes. Safe to say that even though Rodgers did not name players in particular – the words were harsh, strong and indigestive to many.

Aaron Rodgers

This is not the first time such an occurrence has happened with Aaron Rodgers. Majority believe that Rodgers has the nature of blaming others when he can’t lead his team. On the same note, sports media personality – Colin Cowherd came forward to condemn Rodgers and even compared him with veterans like Tom Brady and Russell Wilson.

On the latest episode of Herd with Colin Cowherd, the host quoted, “Aaron Rodgers is having the worst seven games stretch perhaps in his career. What did Aaron say? He went in a YouTube show and called out his coach and called out his teammates. I think guys are making too many mistakes they shouldn’t be playing, I gotta start cutting some reps on those guys. And maybe those guys shouldn’t be playing, give other guys a chance.”

Did Aaron Rodgers cross the line with his words?

Aaron Rodgers might have blamed his inexperienced and younger offensive unit, but the truth is that he himself hasn’t played well as compared to his standards. Not only is Packers 3-4 at this stage because of their defensive or dropped chances, but the reason which adds to it only includes Aaron Rodgers not being able to make those decisive plays.

Colin added, “Saying that publicly is not only a shot at those players, and they all know in that locker room who he’s talking about. So, you’re calling out young guys. It’s also calling out Matt LaFleur. What it’s basically saying is our coach doesn’t even know who to put in the game. He’s been in the league for 15 and still hasn’t figured out his leadership thing.”
