With their chance of making their way into the playoffs hanging by a thin rope, Green Bay Packers have been handed yet another loss. This time via the hands of Philadelphia Eagles 40-33 on Sunday. In a game whose score line does not depict the whole mood of the game, the Eagles averaged 7.4 yards per carry and ran for three TouchDowns.
Jalen Hurts completed 16-of-28 passes for 153 yards and two more TouchDowns. While on the other hand, Aaron Rodgers had to leave the game due to an injury in the third quarter. Coming into the game with a 9-1 record, Eagle showcased just how they have dominated every opposition they have faced so far, and just where the Green Bay Packers are lacking.
Not only that packers were even labelled ‘average’ by Colin Cowherd, he was just tired of witnessing them falling down from the abundance pressure imposed on them by the rival teams. It is hard t argue when your own Quarterback has thrown two interceptions and taken a total of three sacks.
Replacing Aaron Rodgers was Jordan Love, who made his first appearance in the 2022-23 season. In a game where the result seemed obvious, Love completed 66.7 percent of his throws with an average depth of target of 11.4, and he had one “big time throw,” which was dropped by Aaron Jones.
He extended both plays he was under pressure and nearly had a scramble drill touchdown pass to Randall Cobb. But it wasn’t enough o change what Cowherd really feels about the Green Army.
Colin Cowherd wrote in his tweet, “Packers aren’t even overrated anymore. This is just what they are. Average. Nothing more. Getting pushed around again in a big spot.”
