Colin Cowherd once predicted Sam Darnold to be a better quarterback than Ravens QB Lamar Jackson

As years and season progress, there are some players who only go onto showcase just why they are different than the rest of the pack and have the ability to change the game. Baltimore Ravens’ marquee player Lamar Jackson is indeed of the same kind, but if there is one person who predicted otherwise – it is sports media analyst, Colin Cowherd.

One may be aware that the job of these sports media personalities is to stir up controversy and give bold predictions, but this one upon Lamar Jackson seems to have fired Colin Cowherd right in the face. On Wednesday, an old episode of The Herd went viral wherein Colin stated Jackson to not be as good as Josh Rosen or Sam Darnold.

Cowherd quoted, “Lamar Jackson’s a project. He’s not Sam Darnold or Josh Rosen, he’s not even close.”

How has Lamar Jackson proven Colin Cowherd wrong?

Since Cowherd’s bizarre prediction, Lamar Jackson has gone onto claim an MVP accolade and has even become the face of modern-day NFL Quarterbacks. Not only that, even when he has his negotiations going on with the Baltimore Ravens, there is not a single soul who doesn’t feel that Jackson deserves any less than a maximum contract extension.

Just in the three games of the 2022-23 NFL Season, Lamar Jackson has registered a tally of 739 yards and 10 TouchDowns through the air, and 243 yards and 2 TouchDowns on the ground. On the other hand, the other two mentioned personnel are yet to take the field in 2022. On one hand where Darnold is dealing with an injury, Rosen is not even on an active roster.
