Micah Parsons claims he and Trevon Diggs can become a duo like Jalen Ramsey and Aaron Donald
Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey are arguably the best players in the NFL in their respective positions. Micah Parsons believes that he and Diggs can become a duo like the Rams’ star duo.
Parsons said, “It’s hard to say we’re the best because I know we’re young and we still make mistakes. It’s hard to put us over Aaron Donald, the greatest defensive player in history, with Jalen Ramsey. So I won’t do it yet. But I think we can become them or even better if we learn together and stick together.”
Micah Parsons’ words certainly made a lot of sense. There is still a lot of room for growth in the games of both he and Diggs. However, they are still young and will only get better from here. On the other hand, Ramsey and Donald are aging and are coming out of their prime years. As a result, Parsons and Diggs can catch them pretty promptly.
If Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs become a duo like Jalen Ramsey and Aaron Donald, a Super Bowl might not be far away for the Dallas Cowboys. If other players also step up and contribute in big games, their team is more than capable of winning it all.
Parsons believes Trevon Diggs was the best defensive player last year
Micah Parsons was very impressed with what Trevon Diggs achieved last season. He believes that Diggs was the best defensive player last season because he had the most interceptions. Getting interceptions isn’t an easy task, but Trevon Diggs excelled at it.
Talking about Diggs, Micah said, “That’s what makes the player he is: his confidence, his willingness to go after the ball, I’ve seen a lot of corners not give up yards, but their teams aren’t winning games. This league is about how many times you can get the ball back, and you get the ball back with turnovers. I’d take that any day of the week.”
He added, “Without a doubt I thought (Diggs) was the best defensive player in the league last year, We’ve seen 20 sacks before. But in this era, we’ve never seen anyone reach 10-plus interceptions. So it’s disrespectful to me, because I think he deserves all the credit in the world and deserves to be named a top-five corner if not the best corner in the league.”
Hopefully, Trevon Diggs and Micah Parsons will be able to replicate last season’s form and get even better in the upcoming season to help the Dallas Cowboys achieve the ultimate goal.
