Derek Carr is looking forward to work with his new head coach and GM
Derek Carr carried the Las Vegas Raiders on his back despite all the unfortunate things happening with people associated with the franchise throughout the season.
Carr is an excellent quarterback who led his team without a permanent head coach to the playoffs where they lost to the eventual AFC Champions, The Cincinnati Bengals.
The Raiders hired a new head coach in Josh McDaniels and a new General Manager in Dave Ziegler who look to carry this team and make them a legitimate contender in the AFC.
Derek was excited to work with his new head coach and general manager as while talking about them he said, “They’ve been super awesome. They’ve been great,”
“I’m just looking forward to getting to know them.”- Derek Carr speaking about his new head coach and GM
Derek Carr further talked about his new head coach and the new GM of the Las Vegas Raiders and said, “I’m just looking forward to getting to know them. We’re doing the whole business relationship thing, but hopefully, we can get our families together and start getting to know each other and start building that unity that we had last year.”
The next year will be the last year of Carr’s contract at the Raiders as he didn’t sign an extension yet and he will be stepping on the field to prove his greatness so that he can get a good sum of money when the contract get signed up.
Talking about his contract situation he said, “I’ll do what I can to continue to bless my family and bless people all around the world, I truly believe that God has allowed me to be in such a position with that stuff. I’m thankful that He can trust me to do the right thing with that money.”
He is taking his time because he wants to see the growth of the team under new people and then only he will sign that long term deal with the team as he said, “Obviously, that’s in mind when I’m thinking about all that, But there are also some football players that I want to play with, so I keep that in mind too.”
Derek Carr will give his 100% on the field just like he has done so far in his career and with the new people around him, maybe they can make some noise in the AFC and shock many people around the league.
