“He’s feeling a little bit better”- Matt LaFleur provides an update on Aaron Rodgers’ health ahead of Week 13

Aaron Rodgers left the game against the Philadelphia Eagles in the third quarter because of pain and trouble breathing, which resulted in Jordan Love making his first appearance in the 2022-23 season. With the team losing 40-33 against the best team of the current season, Packers’ coach Matt LaFleur revealed the health status of the reigning MVP.

Aaron Rodgers had undergone additional tests on Monday, and his presence in the team’s game on Sunday will depend upon his health status, which LaFleur was keen on sharing.

“Sometimes there’s stuff that doesn’t show up on all the scans,” LaFleur said as quoted by ESPN. “All I can tell you is he’s feeling a little bit better.”

Matt was clear in indicating that he would not go with Jordan Love if Rodgers is able to start for the team. To talk about the performance of the individual concerned – Rodgers completed 11-of-16 passes for 140 yards and 2 TouchDowns with 2 interceptions before going out of the contest.

“I don’t think that’s what we’re arguing here,” LaFleur said. “It’s just, we’ve got a lot of faith, quite frankly, in both those guys. But you know, Aaron’s the starting quarterback. He’s battled through a lot throughout the course of his career. It’s pretty well documented, and I think he’s been able to play at a pretty high level through a lot of different situations. So again, we’ll take it one game at a time and make the best decision moving forward.”
