Derrick Henry might just have ended the Green Bay Packers’ hopes of making a comeback in the 2022-23 season. Having beaten Aaron Rodgers’ unit 27-17, his performance was a perfect Thanksgiving plate stuffed with a little of everything on the table.
With Packers looking feisty early on, Henry generated 87 rushing yards and a TouchDown on 28 carries. The Tennessee Titans running back caught two passes for 45 yards, including a massive 42-yard screen after the Green Bay Packers had pulled within a score in a third quarter.
Derrick Henry also added two passes, including a 3-yard jump pass to a wide-open Austin Hooper for an emphatic TouchDown.

In leading his team, Derrick Henry became the first running back in the 2022-23 NFL Season to pass the 1,000-yard barrier.
“It’s something that’s gonna continue to drive me,” Derrick Henry said, as per NFL.com. “I’m always motivated every single day. I am constantly thinking, constantly critiquing myself every single day. It never stops. I want to be the best I can be to help this team and do what I can to help this team win and be the best player I can be…. I’m always looking for something to fuel me, and that’s how it’s always been since I’ve been playing this game.”
To add to his impressive tally of accolades, Henry became the fifth player in NFL history with 10-plus rush TouchDowns in five consecutive seasons.
