Travis Kelce has been with the Kansas City Chiefs throughout his career. He is one of the most important players on their team and is arguably the best tight end in the league.

With Tyreek Hill leaving the Chiefs for more money, some people thought that maybe Kelce would also look to do the same. However, Travis Kelce has denied that, as he has wished to stay with the Chiefs for his entire career.

Kelce’s contract was restructured a few days ago which enable to get him a couple of millions this season which was supposed to be at the back end years of his contract.

Talking about it, Kelce said, “It’s just another reason why I love being here, man. I’ve done everything I can to do things the right way on the field and in the community. And I’m going to continue to do that.”

He added, “They know that and they know what type of player they’re going to get with me. What type of leader they’re going to get in this building and also in the community.”

Travis Kelce is very glad to be a part of the Kansas City Chiefs

Travis Kelce is widely loved around Kansas City. He is also very proud to be a member of such a fantastic organization, and he shows out on the field every time he is expected to.

Kelce further talked, and said, “I’m just extremely appreciative of it, That they would even think about it and try to put something together. It’s just another reason why I go out here and play my tail off for this city and this organization.”

He added, “I don’t plan on playing anywhere else, brother, I hope the Chiefs have that in mind too.” The Kansas City Chiefs wouldn’t want to part ways with Kelce either. They know how crucial he is for their team and system, which is why it is likely that he will retire as a Chief.

The Kansas City Chiefs have a tough season ahead

The Kansas City Chiefs lost their WR1 in Tyreek Hill at the start of the offseason. It is a tough blow for the Chiefs as replacing him won’t be easy for them. As a result, the responsibility will now be on the shoulders of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

The Chiefs have made some great additions to their team following the departure of Hill. Rookie Sky Moore is looking quite good in training camp. Former Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster is also looking impressive. They also have two very fast players in Mecole Hardman and MVS who can carve open any defense.

The Chiefs also got stronger on the defensive end, and that is a great positive for them. Their division is tough, which is why they need to be at their best to even make the playoffs.

It won’t be a cakewalk for them as it has been for the past few years, which is why the next season will be a very tough challenge for Mahomes and the Chiefs. All four teams in their division are capable of winning the championship, and one of them will be likely to miss the playoffs. The Chiefs would like to avoid that at all costs.
