It’s been over a month since we have witnessed Ja’Marr Chase in action for the Cincinnati Bengals. Now with the AFC Championship Game rematch all set to take place, it seems like Kansas City Chiefs’ opponents will be loaded on the offensive end in the highly awaited Week 13 showdown.
This is the same opposition against whom Ja’Marr torched for 320 yards and four TouchDowns in their two meetings in the previous season. Also knowing where they stand in the AFC North division, Bengals will be eager to secure a place higher than Baltimore Ravens, with a win.
Ahead of this spoken off matchup, Chase revealed how he feeling heading into a contest against a team who has been rattling their opponents till the last whistle.
“I just thought it was maybe a glute, something regular,” Chase said on Wednesday as per NFL whilst referring to why he didn’t feature in the team’s Week 12 contest when Joe Burrow and his other teammates made public statements. “Then I just kept playing. I came in (after the Saints game) to lift and couldn’t really move, I was too stiff. I told the trainers that I don’t really think I should be doing too much ’cause I can’t really move.”
Speaking more about his mindset, Ja’Marr Chase revealed 100% confidence on how he can help his team beat the heavyweights – Chiefs in this upcoming contest.
“I don’t think I can be stopped, if I’m being honest,” Ja’Marr Chase concluded. “I’m out there playing football, playing my game. So when I’m in a rhythm, on a roll and I’m just playing, you know the timing’s there and I’m just playing football.”
