“I had no idea who he was” Matt Araiza’s rape accuser made brutally honest confession

The 18-year-old female accused all these players, including Matt Araiza to have assaulted her for more than an hour at a party in October. Although the name of the victim was never made public – it was revealed that these ‘culprits’ took away her phone, ripped her piercings out and left her bleeding as it is after the assault (as per her claims).

“I was crying, and my friend asked me what happened,” the accused woman, who was 17 when the incident allegedly happened told CBS News. “And I told her, ‘I had just been raped.'” She wrote in her journal the next day, “All I keep replaying in my mind is being face down in a random bed just waiting for it to be over.”

When such NFL players are accused, there are high-end attorneys which take charge to defend their client. In Matt Araiza’s case, it was Kerry Armstrong. The latter accused the victim to involve Matt Araiza only for the sake of money. Upon hearing this the then 17-year-old woman feel sick to the stomach.

“I reported it the day after it happened. I was 17-years-old and I had no idea who Matt Araiza was,” she confessed.

When the lawsuit filed went public, the Buffalo Bills had no option but to drop Araiza from their roster. Being drafted in April, the team was made aware about the incident in July. Although n criminal charges have been filed yet, the case is now with the San Diego district attorney.
