Did NFL Fans rule out the possibility of Dallas Cowboys being a capable side without star Quarterback Dak Prescott? No! Has Cooper Rush stunned the world to simply answer all his critics? Definitely yes!
The latest to join the Cooper Rush-hype train is sports media analyst and perhaps the biggest fanboy of Dallas Cowboys in the media – Skip Bayless. After the spoken off team won their second consecutive match in the 2022-23 season, Bayless seems to push a new narrative of Rush leading his troop better than Prescott for Jerry Jones’ team.
Maybe, 70-year-old, Bayless has become the biggest cheerleader for Cooper Rush. But as things are unravelling, it seems the first undrafted QB since Pro Hall of Famer Kurt Warner, has earned every right to be applauded on the grandest stage.
Skip Bayless gushes over Cooper Rush after Cowboys beat Giants
A win would’ve ensured the first 3-0 start for the Giants since 2009 season. Having started in only 3 games in his career, Rush is undefeated in each one of them. What’s even more interesting? All these spoken off victories have been fourth-quarter comebacks. In his most recent game, when the Cowboys needed his desperately in the second half, Cooper Rush was it his best, making sure Bayless is impressed by each of his move.
On the latest episode of Undisputed, Skip Bayless quoted, “I love what I’m seeing from Cooper Eush, he is unspectacularly special. He’s (Cooper Rush) operating that offense at a higher level than I’ve seen Dak Prescott operate.”
That being said, Cooper Rush finished the night with 21-of-31 for 215 yards and also a TouchDown. It is indeed safe to assume that just like the Cowboys’ fanbase, Bayless would be keeping a ‘keen’ eye on Cooper Rush. Will he be able to register yet another win for the Cowboys when they lock horns against the mighty and highly unpredictable Washington Commanders? Remains to be seen.
